What is Mesothelioma ??

 so in this post i'm going to teach you What is mesothelioma ??

  when you hear mesothelioma you think it's the lung or chest cancer and this is not true at all 
  mesothelioma is the cancer of  The thin layer of  tissue that cover alot of our internal organ (   mesothelium  ) so it can affect 
 many organ not just chest and lung but the most common organs affected is lung and the area of chest 
  it can also take place in the lining of abdomen area but less common than chest and lung and rarely in

•  sac around the heart 
• sac around the testis                           

 so who is expected to have Mesothelioma ?? 

    the ideal answer on this question will be someone with high risk factors but let me tell you risk factors is not every thing  Some people with many risk factors never develop cancer while others with no risk factors do so i advice you to have a periodical medical check up if you have one or more of the following risk factor 

• Genetics 

In contrast to most types of cancer genetics don't play the most important role with Mesothelioma because only 1% of people with Mesothelioma have inherited mesothelioma and this happen usually due to a mutation in gene called BAP1

•  Radiation exposure 

may cause Mesothelioma 

•  Asbestos exposure

 here we come to the most important risk factor causing Mesothelioma because 70% to 80% of people diagnosed with mesothelioma have been exposed frequently to asbestos ( it's a natural mineral added to cement and some other product if you don't know it just google it or wait for me i will speak about it laterally ) asbestos particles can be inhaled or Swallow by the contacted person and his family too because this particles carried on the clothes and item so 

safety regulations are highly require for people who work with asbestos

•   smoking 

 smoking alone not causes Mesothelioma however it cause many other types of cancer but  the combination between smoking and exposure to asbestos  increase the risk of many types of lung cancer . 

   
  so  for any person with one or more of those risk factor you must often check up  for any abnormal cell growth in your body .
